Also, come see our booth at the Pennsylvania Taxidermy show this Thursday through Saturday. You'll be able to purchase products without a shipping cost.
Welcome to the Helping Hand Hangers website!
Helping Hand Hangers were developed for the taxidermy industry by a taxidermist. Working alone, as many taxidermist do, I often found myself in need of an extra pair of hands to assist me with securing mounts to the stand for finish work. I came up with this simple, but very effective solution.
The hanger has a lip on it that catches the stand head freeing up your hands to put in the screws to hold the mount in place. These hangers are very versatile and can be used on just about anything you need a hanger for, up to medium sized game heads by themselves. Or they can be used for large heads (demo) and wall pedestal mounts when used with wall brackets. For larger heads and wall pedestals, you need to slightly modify your stand head by welding a tab on it, which you can make yourself or order from us. This system is the most versatile and reliable way to hang your customers Trophy of a lifetime. Read more about it on the products page.
Products
Take time to check out our other taxidermy supplies as well. We are now offering a hand held fleshing tool that will help you in your caping, fleshing, and fine detailed taxidermy work. You'll also love the hardwood fleshing cone for stretching the cape and cleaning those sensitive, hard to handle areas.
We are also offering individual and by-the-dozen bumpers for spacing behind the mounts. Or you can order whole Helping Hand Hanger kits that include the mount hanger, the wall bracket (especially good for large game), and a pair of matching bumbers. Choose between a regular bracket (1/2") and an offset bracket kit (1")
Forum for Videos
With all of the questions from YouTube and the comments page, we though it would be best to just start a central forum area for all questions and comments. Please, try it out, and leave a message about the products or the website. We'd love to hear from you.
